    Johanna Thompson has over 20 years experience leading and teaching in challenging secondary contexts in London and Essex. More recently Johanna held the role of Regional Education Director for East of England for Lift Schools (formerly AET). Prior to this, Johanna was Principal of Oasis Silvertown, having built up her leadership experience previously as Associate Principal of Ark Globe Academy. Johanna began teaching in 2004 as part of the second Teach First cohort and holds an MA Hons in English Literature from Edinburgh University. Johanna recently relocated to Casablanca with her family and works as a consultant for SOMED Group, a private holding company which is committed to the economic and social development of Morocco through value-creating and job-generating investments.
