Consilium Academies is thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students across all of our schools on GCSE Results Day. This year has been a testament to the resilience, dedication, and hard work of our students, staff, and the entire Consilium community.
Leaders at the school at all levels have ‘a clarity of vision’ for the school.
Dedicated headteacher Robert Bell said he felt “overwhelmed” after being presented with a national award by the city’s deputy mayor, Cllr Ehthesham Haque on what was ‘Thank a Teacher Day’ (Wednesday June 19).
He was presented with the prestigious Silver Award for Excellence in Special Needs Education from the Pearson National Teaching Awards after being “selected from thousands of nominees”.
The accreditation marks a positive start to Mental Health Awareness Week.
Ten students from Heworth Grange School in Gateshead came up with an app that enhances access to urban green spaces. Their design wins them an ‘honourable mention’ in the Otis Made to Move Communities award.
