Consilium Academies is delighted to announce that Halima Farooq, Business and Employer Engagement Officer for our Manchester schools, has been shortlisted for the Mentor and Skills Champion Award at the Made in Manchester Awards 2026.
In her role, Halima arranges career workshops, fairs, and trips for students, and meets with young people to provide the guidance, advice, and support they need to make informed decisions about their future careers. Her work ensures students have access to the opportunities and information they need to succeed.
This recognition highlights Halima’s hard work and commitment to helping our communities succeed. We are incredibly proud to see her outstanding contributions celebrated on such a prestigious stage.
