
Washington Academy, has been spreading Christmas cheer in the local community by supporting Washington Manor Care Home in Concord, continuing a valued tradition that takes place each year.
As part of the initiative, the academy once again sponsored a room at the care home and delivered festive gift bags prepared by students for residents.
Over the years, Washington Academy has built strong and lasting links with the care home and the wider community, with staff and students taking great pride in supporting local residents during the festive season.
The visit reflects Washington Academy’s continued commitment to engaging with the community and provides students with a meaningful opportunity to give back, helping to develop empathy, kindness, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Staff at Washington Manor Care Home welcomed the visit and expressed their thanks for the continued support shown by students and staff.
The gifts were warmly received and helped to spread festive cheer throughout the care home once again.
