We are delighted to share that Ellesmere Park High School is undergoing a significant £6 million expansion, which will provide improved facilities and increased capacity for the growing school community.
This investment marks an important step forward in ensuring we continue to offer a high-quality learning environment for all students, both now and in the future.
To celebrate the start of this exciting development, we recently marked the occasion with a special event in school, where students and staff came together to take part in a time capsule ceremony. The capsule, filled with memories, messages and items representing life at our school today, was buried on site to be opened by future generations.

As part of the development, a number of key improvements will be made across the site, including:
These enhancements will support our curriculum and provide students with access to modern, well-equipped learning environments.
The expansion will also help us accommodate more students, responding to increasing demand for places and ensuring more young people can benefit from the opportunities our school offers.
To support learning during the construction phase, temporary classrooms will be introduced from September 2026, ensuring that lessons continue with minimal disruption.

This development reflects our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and investment in our school. We are excited about the positive impact these changes will have on teaching, learning, and the overall student experience.
We will continue to keep parents, carers, and the wider community updated as the project progresses.
