Robert Bell, Principal of Consilium Evolve Sunderland, has been named SEND Leader of the Year at the National School Awards 2025. The award was presented to Robert at a prestigious ceremony on Wednesday night ( 3rd December 2025) held at the House of Lords.
Students from Year 11 at Wyvern Academy, part of Consilium Academies, recently embarked on an unforgettable educational trip to the Western Front in Belgium and France, visiting key historical sites including The Ypres Salient, Passchendaele, Hill 62, Lochnagar Crater, Vimy Ridge, Thiepval, Tyne Cot, and more.

Wyvern Academy in Darlington, part of Consilium Academies, is set to benefit from the nationwide rollout of solar panels funded by Great British Energy and the UK government. The scheme, announced 17th November 2025, will deliver rooftop solar installations to over 250 schools across England - enabling them to generate clean, home‑grown electricity, reduce energy costs, and reinvest savings into education.
